Pista House - Order Online - 2. Photos & 3. 7 Reviews - Indian - 9. W Royal Ln - Irving, TX - Phone Number - Menu. W Royal Ln. Irving, TX7. I've been to 1. 6 states in the US and covered many Indian restaurants but after 2 years finally I had the authentic Hyderabadi Haleem and Dum Biryani ! The manager was friendly and very accommodating with our requests and food was delivered on time. Taste was really good , we ordered for 4. Thank you! I really like the Vijayawada chicken biryani over here. I really like their budget biryani menu as it would be sufficient for one for reasonable price. Reheated probably from yesterday and water added. Few spoons were hot and few spoons as if not heated. Complained at the reception. They lied on my face that it is fresh. No courtesy to apologize or refund for 5 Haleem or maybe serve something better and fresh as a good gesture to make the customer happy. Worst food . Biriyani was very spicy ordered for medium spicy and taste was dumb and kadai paneer also worst. Ran out of 4/6 items we ordered (vindaloo, pad pad, Tikka Naan, and chicken samosa). Well we were a little full by the time we came here. Our friends from HYD promised a good taste of haleem since this place is known for a good sumptuous haleem. You come in, gaze at the menu board, choose what you want, order and take a seat while the food is brought to you. I have had haleem and better haleem than what I got here.
I like mine a little grainy and a little on the spicy side and the natural sweetness that comes from the onions. This haleem was cooked well and it was all mixed up very well. Some folks do like it this way. My biggest grievance was that there were little tiny pieces of cinnamon that were difficult to wade through and although they smell real good biting on them was not that pleasant. May be having a little bigger pieces of cinnamon would be easy to sort through. We also had the chicken tikka and another kind of kabab. We also had Qubani ka meetha and it was terribly sweet. Would not try that again for sure. If you craving some good non- veg dish this place would be able to hit the spot. Only reason why i would may come back is Haleem and goat biryani. I am glad they opened up their first outlet in Irving. The very first bite of haleem here has taken me into the flashback of my childhood and teenage days of Hyderabad. They have maintained excellent consistency of meat, just the right amount of spices and ghee. Lock nut spanners For achieving the correct radial clearance. Irving the Indian Nut (TV Short 1963) Quotes on IMDb: Memorable quotes and exchanges from movies, TV series and more. It tasted really delicious, mutton was perfectly cooked with good aroma . They give you a gravy and raita on the side which makes it a complete entree. All this for a reasonable price. The biryani was absolutely authentic and tasty. And the same goes with haleem. When asked about the chefs, it was informed that, they were from Hyderabad Pista house. It's definitely not a fine dining experience and the ambience is sub par but, brownie points to biryani and haleem. When you're from hyderabad, it's all about Biryani. And, with new management, they nailed it. It was sooooo stuffy, whatever happened to their air- conditioning! Too intolerant to answer questions. Never going back here. Called for To- Go order @ 1. Sunday morning for chicken biryani which they are advertising for world famous biryani. Service was also very good. Price is very reasonable. Ambience is ok but a clean place overall. Recommended for biryani and thali. Been there twice over the last ten days and enjoyed both the visits thoroughly. The new look added some taste to the food on my recent visit. Give your run of the mill indian restaurants a break to try the Chicken Biryani here but only after you down a serving of their succulently cooked Haleem. Better carry out in that case. In any case, I've spotted my Go- to place for quick indian food. Chicken dum biryani was good but Haleem was nowhere near to the pista house pride, looks like it was not prepared by an expert or may be they don't give attention to detail like in the month of Ramadan where they sell this the most. I tried their chicken biryani and tandoori chicken and absolutely loved it. Must try this place. I really wanted to like it. It's a new spot in my neighborhood and I love supporting small businesses. Plus I love Indian cuisine, so I decided to give it a shot. I didn't smell food, which was weird since it's such a small space. Anyway, I ordered tandoori chicken and chicken biryani to go. The chicken tandoori had a good presentation and it was decent, but something was missing. The rice was not good at all and lacking in flavor tremendously. I've had my share of biryani and this was about the worst I've had. On the other hand, the customer service was excellent and I truly wish this business well. I will go back to try the tandoori again. Irving has a large population of Indian people and there are several Indian restaurants throughout the city. You might have better luck at one of those. I particularly prefer Underground Indian Cuisine in Las Colinas. Pista House is a new Indo- Pak restaurant near the intersection of Royal and Mac. Arthur, just on the side of Pho Chateau. The owner said the menu is still a work in progress and thus so far they have limited menu items. Being new, the place looks clean with tables on one side and counter stools seating on the other. It feels more of a to- go place rather than dine- in. It was flavorful and optimally spiced. The food quantity was more than enough for one person. It came with a sauce- mix and raita. Raita was good but was somewhat spicy in contrary to its intended use. Overall, the Birayani was nice but you could get the comparable ones at much cheaper price.
